Automate Display and Reporting of sizes of analysis services databases
Modified By Be Mall on 3/19/2008 1:28:03 PM)
I would like to be able to periodically report on the growth and size of my analysis services databases preferably by running a job that runs a query against analysis services to determine the size of all databases.
Currently, I can tell the size by looking at the GUI or going to the appropriate data folder and determining the size from there. These are both somewhat manual even though I can automate file sizes by using WMI or other scripts for this. My preferred solution is as above and would like to know if feasible and how to go about this.
